Message Good point, you're correct in everything you said, but I cant wait that long.
With that attitude you might make an impulse buy and regret it later... at least be sure of the quality of your purchase. I bought Mr. Z before I knew very much about Zs (even though I *thought* I did at the time...) and wound up paying about $2k too much. ($21,999 when I shoulda just paid about $19,500).

I would of gotten a POS car a long time if i wanted too, but i want a z badly lol,
I hear ya. I drove a Diesel VW Rabbit for 4 years before I got Mr. Z; I honestly believe everyone should do that for their own good. REALLY makes you appreciate it then. I saw my first Z in '90 or '91; and wanted one for friggin' AGES. Bought Mr. Z Halloween of '96; about 9 months after driving a TT for the first time. Let me again suggest you drive a POS for at least a year; learn more about the Z, and save up for one that's in better shape than it sounds like you can afford right now. Plus if you buy a car and sell it again your credit will be much better!

I've been talking about getting my Z for more than a year.
Again, you gotta want one for about 6 years before you can compete with me there. lol

But a Z is a Z right? This is just a temporary car,
OOOh. Bad attitude there. Your Z becomes a personal expression of yourself. You WILL put your heart, sould, and more than a few drops of blood into the car trying to fix this or that, or upgrade such-and-such. You will not want to sell it. Or if you do then people on the forum will dislike you. LOL

once college comes and I have my career, I'll have the 2003 Z and my original '90. Sounds good? Sure; if that's what you REALLY want. I'm just speaking from experience here. I got about 9 years on you, but I'll admit I don't know everything... and even less about your personal situation. Good luck!
